Rule-1: Add an ‘s’ to make plural of most

words.

Example- cat - cats,

pen - pens

Rule-2: For words that end with a vowel plus

’y’ or vowel plus ‘o’, add an ‘s’ to the word.

Example- day - days

radio - radios

Rule-3: For words that end with a consonant

plus a ‘y’, replace ‘y’ with ‘ies’

Example- fly - flies

baby - babies
