  Took his coronation in 1556 CE and became independent from his regent
                       Bairam Khan
                     Suppressed the revolt of his half-brother Mirza Hakkim
                     Military campaigns in the east and north-west
                     Faced rebellion from Prince Salim, future Jahangir.


               Jahangir:

                     Submission of Rana Amar Singh of Mewar before Mughal service.
                     Prince Khurram , future Shahjahan, revolted against him.


               Shah Jahan:

                     Faced two major revolts during his rule by Khan Jahan Lodi & by Jujhar Singh
                       of Bundelkhand
                     Conflict over succession, Aurangzeb killed his three brothers and imprisoned
                       Shah Jahan in Agra



               Aurangzeb:

                     Bijapur was annexed in 1685 and Golconda in 1687.
                     He had to face rebellions from Marathas under Shivaji, the Sikhs, the Jats and
                       the Satnamis.
                     He could not stop the decline of the Mughal empire, which hastened after his
                       demise as none of his sons were trained to rule.
                     A war of succession also followed his death.
