Unit 4

Topic: CVC words (et,ed,en,eg)

Learning Objective: Children will be able to

 Blend and read CVC words.

 Say and write the rhyming words.

 Learn the words and use them in verbal communication.

Discussion:

 Identify the pictures.

 Sound and action of each word learnt.

 Count the sounds with the use of phoneme fingers.
 Arm blending.

Revision Questions(Oral):

 Name some words ending with ‘et’ sound.

 Add a consonant in the beginning of ‘ed’ to make a
meaningful word.

 Frame CVC words using the vowel ‘e’.

 Name a few words ending with ‘et’, ‘eg’, ‘en’ and ‘ed’.
