Topic: CVC words (‘ag’ and ‘ad’ sound).

Learning Objective: Children will be able to

 Blend and read CVC words.

 Say and writethe rhyming words.

 Learn the words and use them in verbal communication.

Discussion:

 Story.
 Find ‘ag’ and ‘ad’ sound words from the story.

 Sound and action of the CVC words given in the story.

 Count the sounds with the use of phoneme fingers.

 Arm building/blending.

Revision Questions:
 What are the first and last sounds of the word ‘bag’?

 Blend the words: tag, lad, had and sag.
 Name a few words having ‘ad’ sound.

 Name a few words ending with ‘ag’ sound.
