                   1.  Quality of Population

                          o  Determined by education, health, and skill formation.

                          o  Education enhances productivity and opens up employment opportunities.

                          o  Healthier people can work harder and longer, contributing more to the economy.

                          o  The quality of population depends upon the literacy rate, health of a person
                              indicated by life expectancy and skill formation acquired by the people of the
                              country.

                          o  The quality of the population ultimately decides the growth rate of the
                              country. Literate and healthy population are an asset.



               As Seen in the case of Sakal education played an important role in Sakal’s life in the
               following ways

                          o  Sakal’s education in the initial years of his life bore him the fruits in the later
                              years in terms of a good job and salary.

                          o  Education was an important input for the growth of Sakal.

                          o  It opened new horizon for him, provided new aspiration and developed values
                              of life.



               Health
                     Health is a very important component of human resource development.
                     Efficiency of workers largely depend on health.
                     If a person is healthy, he would give his maximum output.
                     India over the last five decades has developed its manpower required at primary,
                       secondary and tertiary sector.
