7. Rahul was standing on a 200 m high tower with a stopwatch. He dropped a stone
from the tower and noted that the time taken by the stone to reach the ground as
6 s.
(i) Was the time taken by the stone to reach the ground correct?
(ii) What was its velocity when it touched the ground?
(iii) Make table showing the distance, velocity and acceleration at the end of
each second of the journey of the stone.
(iv) Plot distance-time, velocity-time and acceleration-time graphs.
8. A stone thrown upwards from the top of a tower 85 m high, reaches the ground in
5 s. Find (i) the greatest height above the ground (ii) the velocity with which it
reaches the ground and (iii) the time taken to reach the maximum height. Take g

= 10 ms .
9. Two objects of masses m1 and m2 having the same size are dropped
simultaneously from heights /7a and h2 respectively. Find out the ratio of time
they would take in reaching the ground. Will this ratio remain the same if (i) one
