The above activity shows that metals are good conductors of heat
and have high melting points.
The best conductors of heat are Silver and Copper.
Comparatively poor conductors of heat are Lead and Mercury.

Read this activity from the text book.
• On connecting a metal in A&B, the bulb glows.
• On connecting a nonmetal in A&B, the bulb does not glow.
Conclusion- Metals are good conductors of electricity, but
Non metals are poor conductors of electricity.
