               ANIMAL HUSBANDRY
               Animal  husbandry  is  the  practice

               employed to increase the production of

               animal  products  by  livestock.  Animal
               husbandry  includes  feeding,  breeding,

               and  disease  control  of  livestock
               animals.







               Need for animal husbandry:

                     As the population and the living standard increase, the demand for  milk, eggs
                       and meat also goes up.

                     Hence, to bring a revolutionary increase in the production of milk, eggs and meat

                       to satisfy the increasing demands of people for animal food, animal husbandry is
                       essential.

               Advantages of animal husbandry:

                   •  It helps in enhancing milk production
                   •  It increases egg production

                   •  It increases meat production
                   •  It increases fish production

                   •  It helps in proper management of agricultural wastes.
