               NERVOUS TISSUES

                     Cells  of  the  nervous  tissue  are  highly  specialised  for  being  stimulated  and
                       then transmitting the stimulus very rapidly from one place to another within the

                       body.
                     The brain, spinal cord and nerves are all composed of the nervous tissue.
