(A)Structure
It consists of different components:
Nuclear membrane/envelope
Double membrane that separates the
nucleus from the cytoplasm.
Have pores which allow only selected
materials for exchange.
Nucleoplasm
Colorless, dense sap found inside the
nucleus
Chromatin and nucleolus is suspended.
Nucleolus
Rounded structure not bounded by any
membrane.
Rich in RNA (ribonucleic acid) and protein.
It is the site for protein synthesis.
Nuclear/chromatin material
It contains thread like structures made of
DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid) and protein
which condense at the time of cell division
to rod like structures called chromosomes.
The DNA molecules contain the information
for construction and organization of cells.
