(i) (-23)/17 × 18/35 = 18/35 × (-23)/17)

(ii) -38 × (-7)/19 = (-7)/19 × (38)

(iii) {15/7 × -21/10} × (-5)/6 = 15/7 × {(-21)/10 × (-5)/6}

(iv) (-12)/5 × {4/15 × 25/-16} = {(-12)/5 × (4/15) × (25/-16)

2. Name the property of multiplication illustrated by the following statements:

(i) -11/13 × -17/5 = -17/5 × -11/13

(ii) {(-2)/3 × 7/9} × (-9)/5 = (-2)/3 × {7/9 × (-9)/5}

(iii) (-3)/4 × {(-5)/6 + 7/8 = {(-3)/4 × (-5)/6} + {(-3)/4 × 7/8}

(iv) (-16)/9 × 1 = 1 × (-16)/9 = (-16)/9

(v) (-11)/15 × 15/-11 = 15/-11 × (-11)/15

(vi) -7/5 × 0 = 0
