Pharynx

                     It is the region after the nasal cavity which acts as passageway for air that leads
                       into the trachea.

               Larynx

                     It is also called voice-box.
                     It contains vocal cords that vibrate when air passes through them.

               Trachea

                     It is also called windpipe
                     It is a tube like–structure which is guarded by an opening called glottis, which
                       gets covered by the epiglottis when we eat or drink.
                     The trachea extends further and splits into two bronchi (singular:Bronchus),one
                       for each lung.

               Bronchioles

                     Each bronchus further divides into tiny branches called bronchioles.
                     Bronchioles terminate into tiny air sacs called alveoli.


































               Alveoli (Singular-alveolus)


                     It gives the appearance of a bunch of grapes.
