               GRAMMAR: HOMOPHONES AND HOMONYMS


               LEARNING OBJECTIVES

                   1.  Students will learn to recognise and spell words in homophone sets.
                   2.  Students will assign the correct meaning and pronunciation to each word in a homophone and
                       Homonym set.
                   3.  The clear concepts of different words will enrich their vocabulary and thereby help them to
                       understand the underlying meaning in the context.
                   4.  The children will be able to generate meaningful and logical sentences.
                   5.  This added knowledge in grammar especially the pair of words will also help them to
                       understand meaning of words phrases and sentences in context.
                   6.  These pair of words will also help them express themselves more fluently and critically making
                       it a joy and privilege for theirlisteners.
