               LEARNING OBJECTIVES



                   1.  Children will be able to demonstrate proficiency in critical thinking, communication
                       fluency, quantitative and qualitative thinking.
                   2.  The children will learn to have faith in nature and understand the need to preserve it.
                   3.  They will be able to express their opinions and views on not only the various ways that
                       nature nurtures us but also realise our duty towards mother Earth through this poetry by
                       John Keats ON THE GRASSHOPPER AND THE CRICKET.
                   4.  The children will be able to identify the salient features of the literary text: ON THE
                       GRASSHOPPER AND THE CRICKET.
                   5.  The children will also be able to identify the various figures of speech used in the poetry,
                       ON THE GRASSHOPPER AND THE CRICKET.
                   6.  The children will also develop the capabilities in critical thinking while speaking about the
                       ways and means to preserve our natural surroundings.
                   7.  The children will also learn new words that will enrich their vocabulary.
