               NOTES-

               SUB TOPIC- Silent sentinels- the story of megaliths


                     These are large stone boulders used to mark burial sites.
                     These are either on the surface or in the underground.
                     The burials shared the common features- biried with poys, tools and
                       weapons.
                     Social difference was followed.
                     While in Brahmagiri, a skeleton has been found with 33 gold beads, 2 stone
                       beads, etc.
                     Other skeletons were found with only some pots.
                     Megaliths can contain more than one skeleton.
               SUB TOPIC- A special burials at Inamgaon


                     Remains have been found here of burials inside the house.
                     Remains of crops like wheat, barley, etc have been found.
                     Remains of various animals and fruits have also been collected from here.
