     AESTIVATION :

         Some animals rest

         throughout the summer in a
         shady and cool place. This
         is called aestivation.


          e.g.  Snails and earthworm




     HIBERNATION :

         some animals sleep

         throughout the winter. They
         are not active during this

         time. The is called
         hibernation.
