Animals are found in different places on earth. The place where an animal lives, feeds and
reproduce is called its habitat.
Habitat:The area where a particular animal naturally lives , grows and reproduces is called
habitat.Animals depend on their habitat for food, shelter, water and protection.Different types
of living organism are found in different regions of the world. In this chapter, we will be
studying about different kinds of living creatures and how they survive in different types of
climate. How is the habitat different for different living organisms?
The surrounding where living organisms survive is known as habitat.
