The Eastern Coastal Plain :-

 Lies between the Eastern Ghats and Bay of Bengal .

 It stretches from West Bengal to Tamil Nadu.

 Rivers – Mahanadi, Godavari, Kaveri and Krishna

 This region is fertile, irrigated and heavily populated.

 Mangrove forests, backwaters and lagoons are also

found.

 Important Cities – Vishakhapatnam, Chennai ( well

known for sea ports), Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
