SUB TOPIC: PRIME FACTORISATION(DIVISION METHOD)
Splitting a given number into its prime factors is known as prime factorisation.
Or
Expressing a given number as the product of prime numbers is called as prime factorisation.
Prime Factorisation can be done in two methods:
a. Factor Tree Method
b. Division Method
Division Method
Example 1:
write the prime factorisation of 36 using division method.
Example 2:
write the prime factorisation of 40 using division mehtod.
40 = 2 x 2 X 2 x 5
