Expanded Form:
In expanded form of a number, the number is shown according to the place values of its
digits.
We can learn expanded form of a number in the following ways:
A. if we write the number in words.

Example: 33,145
Solution: 3 ten thousands + 3 thousands + 1 hundreds + 4 tens + 5 ones = 100 + 40 +
5
B. if we arrange the digits in a place value.
