Energy flow
• Energy in an ecosystem originally comes from
the sun.
• The plants prepare food using solar energy in
the process of photosynthesis.
• This energy then gets transferred to herbivores
after eating plants.
• The herbivores are eaten by carnivores or
omnivores.
• The energy reaches the carnivore or omnivore
at the end.
