OCCUPATION
OCCUPATION -MEANING AND OCCUPATION IN VILLAGES
LEARNING OBJECTIVE:-Students will learn about the meaning of occupation and
occupations in villages, cities and difference between occupation and hobbies.
•Occupation is a person's usual or principal work or business, especially as a means of earning a
living.
•Occupation or job, one's role in society, often a regular activity performed for payment.
•Major Occupation in villages– Agriculture which is farming as it is the primary occupation in all
of the villages people.
OCCUPATION IN CITIES AND HOBBIES
•There are many types of occupations that the people living in urban areas in India as well as in
other countries do.
•The job type ranges from being a doctor, engineer, business Man, Contractor and others.
•The profile of Job and other people change’s accordingly and people can further think upon it
like if they want to change the job or so.
•A hobby is an activity, interest, or pastime that is undertaken for pleasure or relaxation, done
during one's own time.
LEARNING OUTCOME:-Students have learnt the meaning of occupation and different
occupations in both villages , cities and how occupation is different from hobbies.
