We live in a society. To maintain social contact, we send and receive messages.
The process by which we receive and send messages is called communication.
Many years back , people were sending messages through trained pigeons or
messengers. The messengers used to go on foot or animals.
Nowadays, there are various means of communication which are easy and
fast.
Types of communication
Personal communication.
Mass communication.
Personal communication
Personal Communication is between person to person.
It includes various communication mediums like postal services, SMS, telephone
and mobile phone facilities help humans to have personal communication with their
peers.
Mass communication
Mass communication means the imparting or exchanging of information to large
number of people at the same time. Various means of mass communication are
newspaper, magazines, radio, television and films. Satellites also play an
important role in sending messages to us from all over the world.
