o Delhi has many famous monuments.
o The crowning glory of Delhi is the grand citadel called Red
Fort possessed by the MUGHAL DYNASTY. This monument is
situated in Old Delhi. It is the biggest of all monuments in the
city.
o Jama Masjid is famous Historical Monuments in Delhi built
by Shah Jahan – A Mughal emperor in between 1644 and also
1656. It was built by more than 5000 workers.
o India Gate Constructed by the British to commemorate the
sacrifices of Indian soldiers in World War I.
o The Lotus Temple also known as the Bahai House of Worship
or Bahai Mashriqul-AdhkarTemple is one of the best
architectural marvels in the country in modern times.
