Multiplication of 2 and 3-digit numbers by a 1-digit number (without regrouping)

Learning Objectives- Students will learn to multiply 2 and 3-digit number by a 1digit number using
column method.

EXAMPLE: Multiply 12 by 3 in Column Method

 Step 1 – Multiply ones
 Step-2- Multiply tens place: 3 x 1= 3

 place first :3x2=6

Thus, 12 x 3 = 36
