Plane Shapes
Learning Objective –Students will learn toidentify and draw flat shapes.
Plane figures are two- dimensional shapes. They have only length and breadth.
• Some examples of plane shapes are –
• Triangle
• Rectangle
• Square
• Quadrilateral
• circle
TRIANGLE:A triangle has three sides and three corners.
• RECTANGLE: A rectangle has 4 corners and 4 sides.
The opposites sides of a rectangle are always equal in length.
SQUARE: A square has 4 corners and 4 sides.
All four sides of a square are equal in length.
• QUADRILATERAL: A figure bounded by four line segments is called a quadrilateral.
It has four sides and four corners.
Learning outcome: Students are able to identify and draw flat shapes.
