Learning Objective– Students will be able to learn about subtraction of capacity.
Explanation
subtraction of units of capacity
Arrange the number in column according to the units. First subtract smaller unit then subtract
larger unit.
Millilitres is always written in 3 digits.
Example :
Subtract 14 l 430 ml from 35 l 130 ml

35 130
- 14 430
20 700
Thus, 35 l 130 ml - 14 l 430 ml = 20 l 700 ml
