Learning objective: Students will be able to know about the standard tools and units of
measuring mass.
Measurement of Mass
Mass tell us how heavy or light an object is. Mass in simple term means weight. Mass is
measured in Gram (g) and Kilogram (kg). Gram is used to weigh light objects while Kilogram
is used to weigh heavy objects.
Thousand grams make a kilogram (1kilogram= 1000grams).
We use weighing balance and electronic balance for measuring mass.
Learning outcome: Students learnt about the standard tools and units of measuring mass.
