Learning objective: Students should be able to know about the respiratory system, the
organs that form the respiratory system and their functions.
Respiratory System
Respiration is the act of breathing in and breathing out. When you inhale, you take in oxygen.
When you exhale, you give out carbon dioxide. The organ system that help us to breathe is
called as the Respiratory system. The organs that help in respiration are nose, windpipe and
lungs.
Learning outcome: Students learnt about the respiratory system and its functions.
