• Mouth

The digestive system begins in your mouth where the
tongue and teeth work together to break the food.

                                                                                                                                                                                  Teeth
The teeth help to break down the food into smaller pieces.

Saliva is a watery liquid which makes the food wet and soft,

and helps digest the food. Saliva

                                                                                                                                                                                Tongue

    • FOOD PIPE (Oesophagus )

The food then goes down a tube called the food pipe or

    oesophagus.

This tube is connected to your stomach.

    • Stomach

The stomach is like a sac that stirs up the food. Digestive

juices in the stomach mix with the food and form a paste.

After the food forms a paste in the stomach it moves to the

    small intestine.
