• New moon is the phase when the moon is
not visible to us.
• Crescent moon is the phase when we see
only a small part of the moon.
• Half moon is when we see half of the
moon.
• Gibbous moon, where more than half
moon is visible.
• Full moon is the phase when the complete
moon is visible.
• From the full moon phase, the moon
reduces to gibbous moon, then half moon,
crescent moon and reaches new moon
again.
