Our Earth is like a huge ball that goes around the
sun.
There are other large bodies, known as planets
which go around the sun.
There are eight planets, including the Earth.
Planets do not have light of their own, they get light
from the sun.
The eight planets, their satellites along with some
other heavenly bodies form the solar system.
The eight planets are Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter,
Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.
The sun is at the centre and all the planets move
around it in their own fixed paths, called orbit.
