Learning Objective: Students will be able to identify adverbs and understand how adverbs
               enhance a sentence.


               Adverb

               An adverb is a word or phrase that modifies and qualifies an adjective, verb, or other adverb.It
               expresses a relation of place, time, circumstance, manner, cause, degree etc. It answers questions
               like how, in what way, when, where and to what extent?

               HOW?                WHERE?             WHEN?             HOW MUCH?          HOW OFTEN?

               Quietly             Above              now               quite              frequently

               Peacefully          far                yesterday         entirely           usually

               Carefully           here               soon              very               never

               Easily              outside            tonight           extremely          occassionally

               Cheerfully          down               Last year         too                sometimes



               He swims well.

               She spoke softly.

               My aunt looked for wild flowers yesterday.
