When do we use present tense?

• For repeated or regular action that is taken in the

present time period.

For example-

• I take the train to the office.

• The train to Puri leaves every hour.

• Rita sleeps 8 hours every night.

• Take, leaves and sleeps is highlighted because it is

an action that is being repeated or is a regular

action that is taking place in the present.
