D. Personal pronouns are used to represent people. They can show first person (the
speaker), second person (the person being spoken to), or third person (the person being
spoken about). If the pronoun is the subject of the sentence, we say it is a subject pronoun
(sometimes called a nominative pronoun). If the pronoun is the object of the sentence, we
