SINGULAR AND PLURAL NOUNS
Learning Objective: Children will learn how to form plural nouns from singular nouns by
the help of some rules.
Singular noun names one person, place, thing, or idea.
I have a brown dog.
One day I went for a walk with my cousin.
Plural nouns names more than one person, place, thing or idea.
We spotted some ducks swimming in a pond.
The dogs are barking.
There are few basic rules to remember to change a singular noun to plural noun.
Learning Outcome: Children were able to form plural nouns and use them in sentences.
