Plural noun formed by adding -s
(girls,cats)

Nouns ending with -s,-x,-ss,-sh and -ch, add -es
AND
(boxes, dresses)
PLURAL Nouns ending with -y, remove -y add -ies
NOUN (babies, cities)
Nouns that ends with vowel + y, we add ‘s’
(boys,toys)
Nouns ending in f, fe, , we drop f, fe and
add- ves
PLURAL (Knives, calves)
Names more than one Noun that ends in consonant + o , we add –es
person, place, animal (Tomatoes)
or thing.
Noun that ends in vowel + o, we add -s
(Radios)
Irregular nouns
They do not follow any rules
(women, feet).
Some nouns do not change in
plural.
(deer,fish)
