Countable and Uncountable Nouns

Learning Objective: Children will learn about which nouns can be counted and which can

not be counted.

Countable Nouns-

 Nouns that you can count

 You can use a/an in front of countable nouns

 Nouns that have a plural form

Uncountable Nouns-

 Nouns that you cannot count

 Nouns that normally don’t have a plural form

 Eg- There is much salt in the curry
