•         We will distribute by taking 2 pineapples.















                • We can see that by distributing in this way we get 3 groups. So, from this


                    distribution I understood that if I give 2 pineapples to each of my neighbours

                    then I can distribute 6 pineapples among my 3 neighbours. So distribution refers


                    to Division. From this division we are getting to know the number of groups in

                    which we can distribute equal number of objects. So this is known as Division by


                    grouping. From here I can write the following division sentence.



                             6                         ÷                     2                          =  3
