WHY DO WE NEED TO CARRY ?

 Children you might remember from

addition that we will need to carry a

number whenever the sum of two

numbers is greater than nine. Like that

same rule applies in multiplication.

 In case of multiplication ,number get

very large quickly. So after

multiplication, if we get a number more

than 9 or 10 , here we need to carry

extra number to the next column to the

left .
