Learning outcome: The students were able to understand the relationship
between repeated addition and multiplication.

Lesson 2- Multiplication as equal grouping

Learning objective: The students will be able to recognize multiplication
as repeated addition and putting together into equal groups.

 Multiplication as Equal grouping means putting a given number of
objects into equal groups.
For example: Put 6 toy trains into 2 equal groups. So, there are 2

equal groups of 3 toy trains in each.

There are 2 equal groups of 3 or 2 X 3 = 3 X 2 = 6.
