Example of 3 digit numbers in a story:
A water tank can hold 650 liters of water up to the top. Right now, the tank has 425 liters
of water in it. How much water is needed to fill the tank completely?
Solution: water tanker can hold up to water = 650 litres
Water the tanker has right now = 425 litres
Water needed to fill the tank = 650 – 425= 225 litres
Therefore, 225 litres of water is needed to fill the tank completely.
