LP 3 – Relation between addition and subtraction

Learning objective: The students will be able to understand the
relation between addition and subtraction and apply in problem
               sums.

 An inverse operation is an operation that reverses the effect

of the original operation. Addition and subtraction are

inverse operations. Both are opposites of each other.

                         For example: 6 + 2 = 8

 By inversing the operation, we can write either

                                            8 – 6 = 2 or 8 – 2 = 6.

Learning outcome: The students were able to understand the

relation between addition and subtraction and apply in problem

               sums.
