LP-1: Addition - regrouping Tens and Ones.


              Learning  objective:  Students will be able to add 2 digit numbers by drawing

              representations of tens and ones with regrouping.



                   To  regroup  means  to  rearrange  groups  in  place  value  to  carry  out  an

                     operation.

                   Children are introduced to the concept of regrouping by using tens and

                     ones  blocks  to  show  how  to  regroup  10  ones  as  1  ten.  This  helps  to

                     understand children for regrouping tens when adding two-digit number.


                 Example: - Regroup 3 tens and 15 ones.


                                Answer:  4 Tens and 5 Ones
































              Learning  outcome-  Students  were  able  to  add  2  digit  numbers  by  drawing


              blocks of Tens and Ones with regrouping.
