What is addition








       Addition is a way of


            combining two or more


            numbers or quantities.


       We use “ + ” sign to show


            addition.


       When                     we            add             two


            numbers, the answer is

            called the sum.



       And the numbers to be

            added together are called


            the “Addends”.
