Rules for Subtraction of odd and even

numbers:

Just like with addition, there are

4 rules for subtraction.

i. Even - Even = Even

Example: 4 - 2 = 2

ii. Even - Odd = Odd

Example: 2 - 1 = 1

iii. Odd - Odd = Even

Example: 3 - 1 = 2

iv. Odd - Even = Odd

Example: 3 - 2 = 1
