What is P.M.?

 P.M. is the second half of the day.

It starts at noon and ends at midnight.

The afternoon and the evening belong to this half of the day.

You might eat lunch at 12:30 p.m., go home from school at 3:00 p.m., eat dinner

at 6:00 p.m. and go to bed at 8:30 p.m.

All these things happen in the P.M..

You'll often hear people say things like:

"Good afternoon“

"Good evening“

"Goodnight“

"Time for dinner!"

P.M. stands for Post Meridiem, which means after noon in Latin.
