Introduction to Time and Clock:
Learning objective: Students will be able to read time and understand the
clock.
In math, time can be defined as the ongoing and continuous
sequence of events that occur in succession, from the past through
the present to the future.
Time is a used to quantify measure or compare the duration of events
or the intervals between them, and even, sequence events.
Time is a measurement of intervals of sequences. It is measured
using an instrument called a clock.
A clock tells us time in hours, minutes, and seconds.
The face of the clock is called dial. The dial of a clock is marked with
numbers from 1 to 12 in order.
A clock has two hands. The long hand is the minute hand and the
short hand is the hour hand.
Both the hands of the clock travel clockwise.
