Introduction to patterns:

Learning objective: Students will be able to understand how to make
pattern.

 A design made from repeated lines, shapes, numbers or colours on a
surface, following some rules is called a pattern.
 When we look into our surroundings, we see many beautiful patterns.

Example: Looking at the walls of our bathroom or kitchen. We will find
some beautiful patterns are made using tiles of different colour.
 A pattern is the way objects are arranged based on a rule.

 A pattern can be created with colours, shapes and numbers.
 Pattern can be defined as a group of anything that re-occurs.

 Patterns can be found everywhere. Numbers, shapes, size, can all be
made by using patterns.
