3D shapes and its attributes:
Learning objective: Students will recognize 3D shapes and differentiate
them according to their properties.
3D-Shape: A three-dimensional shape (3D- shape) can be defined as a
solid figure or an object or shape that has three dimensions- length,
breadth and height. Unlike 2D shapes, 3D shapes have thickness or
breadth.
Types of 3D shapes:
1. Cube
2. Cuboid
3. Cylinder
4. Cone
5. Sphere
6. Pyramid
Properties or attributes of 3D shapes:
Cube: 6 faces, 12 edges, 8 corners .
Cuboid: 6 faces, 12 edges, 8 corners.
